Consultation on the DRAFT Whitby Neighbourhood Plan

The DRAFT Whitby Neighbourhood Plan
The DRAFT Whitby Neighbourhood Plan is out for pre-submission consultation from 1st December 2025 to 30th January 2026.
All comments on the draft Neighbourhood Plan must be made in writing. Please see below for how to submit a response.
A physical copy of the Neighbourhood Plan can be read at any of Whitby Library [website], Flowergate Hall [facebook page], or Eastside Community Centre [facebook page] during the normal opening hours of those premises (check the links above for each venues details).

Your Response
The consultation will be open for responses from Monday 1st December 2025 until Friday 30th January 2026. All comments must be received by midnight on Friday 30th January 2026.
You can give us your comments as follows
- via a hard copy of a response document [click here to download] (or pick one up at the above venues where a physical copy of the Neighbourhood Plan is available), with the hard copy returned to Whitby Town Council offices at Whitby Town Council, Pannett Park, Whitby YO21 1RE, or by being placed in an envelope addressed to Whitby Town Council and left at one of the venues with a hard copy of the Neighbourhood Plan (above);
- or via emailing a response document [click here to download] (as an attachment) to whitbynplan@gmail.com;
- or alternatively complete the web-form below and submit it.

Please note: All comments received will be made publicly available and may be identifiable by name / organisation.
